THE JOB:
The Assistant General Manager is the driving force behind daily excellence, partnering with the General Manager to lead, inspire, and elevate our Diablo's Cantina team in true MGM style. From guiding operations and finances to mentoring staff and executing F&B initiatives, this role ensures smooth performance and unforgettable guest experiences - all while upholding the gold standard of MGM National Harbor.

THE STARTING RATE:
The compensation for this role is $75,000

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Assist General Manager with managing responsibilities for the restaurant to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning process that encompass the company's diversity commitment; adherence to the company's status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce short-term profitability. Execute on the restaurant's business plan and assist General Manager with developing and executing tactics to achieve goals and targets.
  • Maintains excellent knowledge of venue's food & beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform duties

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Beverage, Hospitality, or Management
  • At least 2 years' experience in Food and Beverage Management, Restaurant Management or similar

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum - Maximum

$60,700.00 - $101,200.00

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's incentive plan.
