Sr/Prin. Mammography Technologist, Per Diem (Sign-on bonus eligible)
Job Summary
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range is as follows: Sr Classification is $85.43/hr. Prin. Classification is $93.01/hr

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations.
- Prin Mammo Tech level requires minimum of 5 years of Mammography experience
- Requires proof of mammography - specific training of at least 40 documented hours, if certified after April 27, 1999.
- Requires proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24-month calendar)
- Requires certificates of at least 15 CEU's in the last 36-month period (rolling 36 month calendar) that must include at least 6 CEU's in each mammography modality used.
- Requires proof of MQSA approved 3D Tomosynthesis training.
- Sr. Mammo Tech level requires minimum of 3 years of Mammography experience
- BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
- Requires proof of mammography - specific training of at least 40 documented hours, if certified after April 27, 1999.
- Requires proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24-month calendar)
- Requires certificates of at least 15 CEUs in Mammography in the last 36-month period (rolling 36 month calendar).
- Requires proof of MQSA approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training.
- Proof of initial 25 supervised mammograms
- CRT (M) Mammography Certification
- CRT (R) Radiologic Technologist Certification
- BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer recent work experience in an acute care setting.
- ARRT (R) (M)
- Prefer breast ultrasound experience
- CRT Fluoroscopy License
License/Certification

- CRT (R) Radiologic Technologist Certification
- BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
