JRAD is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the MRDC CBRN Defense Coordinating Office (DCO) with advanced financial analysis, budget formulation, and execution support across CBRN medical defense portfolios. The analyst will work closely with senior government stakeholders to manage and report financial data aligned with programmatic and strategic goals.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual Command Budget Estimates and Unfunded Requirements (UFR) requests
  • Manage disbursement rates and monitor execution of core and Congressional CBDP S&T funds
  • Provide technical and editorial support to program managers for PPBE documentation, including narrative and tabular inputs
  • Utilize program databases and descriptive materials to develop reports, summaries, and financial briefing products
  • Organize and support fiscal budget reviews and prepare monthly financial performance analyses
  • Develop spend plan guidance and contribute to strategic resource allocation planning
  • Initiate Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) creation and purchase requests in GFEBS
  • Monitor the acquisition and funding obligation process to ensure timely contract awards

Required Skills and Education:

  • Masters's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of specialized experience managing and tracking research program funds, including RDT&E and medical S&T programs
  • Familiarity with DoD financial processes, PPBE cycle, and PE funding structures
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Experience briefing and communicating with senior stakeholders

  • Active DoD Secret
