Title- Test & Evaluation Lab Tech 3 Location- North Charleston, South Carolina Duration- 12 Months Position Responsibilities: Plan, check, set up, and operate Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and/or process equipment. Conduct routine tests, analyze data and document results. Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems. Update equipment status using established systems and complete associated paperwork. Ensure equipment is ready for calibration per metrology processes. Prioritize and perform work according to automated daily report list, hot list, or as assigned by lead technician. Perform visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and wear. Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in accordance with metrology lab processes. Provide information and clarification to customers on metrology processes. Work with other employees engaged in the calibration and certification of M&TE, and assist in the development of new calibration processes and procedures. Perform computations necessary to analyze measurement test results. Perform logistics associated with routing calibrated assets to remote labs and suppliers for calibration services. Perform tasks associated with Test Asset Management and Property Management including asset tagging, redeployment, storage and surplus. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):* 1+ years of experience in metrology and/or calibration/certification, and/or instrumentation Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of experience in metrology and/or calibration/certification, and/or instrumentation Experience working on a quality and production orientated team Mechanical background experience Typical Education/Experience: Experienced (Level 3) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
