ReNuke Services is seeking a Communications Specialist II for our site in Jackson, MS

DESCRIPTION:
M-F 8-5 shift

Provides a broad range of marketing and public relations services in accordance with the goals of the company. Typical Functions: Promotes, markets, and sells the company's products and services through effective sales and marketing techniques and the overall coordination and management of seminars and special events activities. Establishes the strategic direction of marketing communications initiatives. Implements and periodically revises the company's public relations plan. Prepares and distributes press releases and public service announcements. Develops and maintains effective media contacts. Produces brochures, flyers, and direct mail campaigns as well as information displays, utilizing creative marketing techniques and strategies. Participates in various company trade shows and other related events. Supervises all aspects of newsletter production to include writing, editing, soliciting articles and artwork, coordinating design and layout, distribution, and mailings. Processes and submits new leads and other documentation to appropriate staff as required. Develops lead generation priorities. Maintains and updates customer information in computer database. Executes innovative Internet (e-commerce) marketing programs and direct mail services. Creates an analytical framework to track, test, and report on marketing communication effectiveness. Directs internal and external creative groups and vendors and coordinates the production and implementation of print and electronic communication. Manages all aspects of the communication plan including monitoring expenditures and evaluating effectiveness.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

To support communications work for fleet for 40 hours per week, focusing primarily on communications work needed for project support in relicensing of nuclear plants. Will also support internal employee engagement efforts, maintaining internal communications at all sites and showcasing behaviors and successes that lead the company to excellence, and fulfill special duties related to distribution of messaging and excellence standards reset/measurement.
