Position Summary
We are seeking an Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT) for the Mission Training Complex (MTC) at JBSA. The selected candidate will work at a government site on Camp Bullis, TX. They will work with a dynamic team providing their experience to develop and execute military training exercises.
What You'll Do
- Work as part of a modeling & simulations team to provide IEWTPT expertise in developing, supporting, and executing digital military training exercises
- This position requires up to 25% travel
- Provide Training System Instructor/Operator (I/O) support to IEWTPT training events
- Use the components of the IEWTPT system to train MI Soldiers, Sections, and Staffs in stand-alone practical exercises, collective single and multi-INT exercises, and to interface with Mission Command simulations and systems in large-scale exercises
- Provide non-personal services in support of Intelligence Simulation training/integration for multi-intelligence exercises and training events
- Support development, execution, and assessment of tailored training scenarios and provide troubleshooting procedures for exercise network architecture
- Participate in exercises in support of White Cell, Higher control (HICON) entities, and After-Action Review (AAR) events
- Participate in providing collective training for C2IS and simulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of six years of recent experience supporting Army or Joint intelligence operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, familiar with the Army Writing Style
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of communication principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint or similar web-based collaboration software tool(s)
- Must obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of hire date
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Able to meet all requirements to be issued a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Knowledge of Military Intelligence Training Strategy (MITS) and experience in developing Army training products
Desired Qualifications:
- Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (or higher) certification
- Common Faculty Development - Instructor Course (CFD-IC), or equivalent, certification
- Familiarity with Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A), Tactical Intelligence Ground Station (TGS), and other ISR tools and inject delivery platforms
- Graduate of Military Intelligence Officer Advanced Course or Senior Leader Course
- TS/SCI w/Poly clearance
- Military Experience serving in at least one of the following roles:
- Brigade or higher S2/G2, or equivalent intelligence analyst within DoD or Intel Community
- Division or higher ACE Chief
- Division-level all-source intelligence warrant officer or senior NCO
- Division or Corps-level G2 operations officer
- CTC Observer/Controller and have prior experience as a military trainer
