Student Research Assistant

Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role. Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.

Student research assistants will assist with recruitment of students, Dance majors and Dance minors, within the OSU Department of Dance. The students will support the delivery of the MIM intervention within the Mind-Body Conditioning for Dancers course and assist with pre- and post-data collection through in-person and electronic reminders. Assistance with initial review and analysis of de-identified data and collaboration on poster presentations and future manuscript development will allow the student to experience the realm of the research process.
