Support Specialist

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a SITECH Support Specialist.

SITECH is a global distribution network for Trimble solutions, the most reliable and rugged construction technology systems available to the heavy civil construction contractor. Our dealership, SITECH Allegheny, provides local Sales, Service & Support, covering Pennsylvania, Northern West Virginia & Western Maryland.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will provide post sales training and support on several types of Trimble machine control systems, surveying equipment and related software. The focus will be in the support and service of Trimble Heavy Civil solutions, encompassing machine control, site positioning, specialty construction, connectivity, and asset management technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve customer's technical issues in a timely manner
• Assist Customers with construction site issues or concerns.
• Become field trained and factory certified on relevant equipment and software
• Provide back-up / secondary support for the field installation team as needed
• Assist in the development of system configurations and proposals for customers
• Assist in the implementation of customer connectivity.
• Assist the sales process as the technical expert.
• Attend customer sales meetings.
• Deliver fee-based (paid) training on-site and/or in a classroom setting to customers of various levels of experience with Trimble technologies.
• Develop and maintain a training program as well as provide customer feedback on these services.
• Provide on-site, new systems (both on & offboard) training to new & existing customers

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• A team player able to leverage resources through sound organizational skills
• Consultative problem solving - involves customer in problem solving by asking appropriate questions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Public or classroom speaking communication skills.
• Experience with Trimble machine control systems, GPS, site positioning, robotics, construction lasers & drones
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (creation of PowerPoint presentations)
• Self-motivated to continue education on new technologies related to the industry
• A well organized, energetic, self-directed individual; forward-thinking and creative
• A team-oriented individual with analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willing to travel, as required.

Education/Experience

• 2 or 4 year degree in related field preferred but not required
• Previous experience with Construction Technology preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation preferred.
• FAA Part 107 UAS Certified/Licensed preferred but not required. (Drone Pilot)
• Experience working with multiple teams within an organization to drive alignment and process improvements.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft 365.

• Works with management teams across divisions to drive engagement.
• Works with key decision makers and end users of services.
• Works with internal SITECH staff including Sales and Service.
