Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an accomplished and mission-focused Program Director to lead and grow strategic programs supporting the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The Program Director will serve as the senior executive responsible for delivery excellence, innovation, and customer engagement, and will act as the principal interface between Peraton and key government stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:
    Program Execution: Lead and direct all contractor personnel executing program activities including project management, technology integration, operations, communications, and training.
  • Customer Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for FDIC and SEC stakeholders regarding all matters of contract execution, performance, and strategic alignment.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure all program deliverables meet or exceed performance standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), using industry best practices and execution frameworks.
  • Performance Management: Oversee timely and accurate reporting of operational metrics, financial data, and program milestones; proactively address risks and opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Manage multidisciplinary teams of technical, functional, and operational staff; ensure workforce effectiveness, engagement, and retention.
  • Financial Management: Oversee program budgeting, cost controls, and financial reporting. Collaborate with customer and Peraton stakeholders to ensure fiscal accountability.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the program portfolio. Promote innovation in cloud modernization, enterprise platforms, and digital transformation.
  • Strategic Growth: Support Peraton's broader business development strategy, identifying growth opportunities within FDIC and SEC and contributing to capture and proposal activities.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong, trusted relationships across all levels of the client organizations, providing strategic counsel and insight.
  • Organizational Development: Foster a diverse and inclusive culture. Champion workforce development and succession planning.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 16 years of experience, may have management experience.
  • 16+ years of progressive experience in federal IT, program management, and operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership of large-scale federal programs and multi-million-dollar portfolios, with deep experience supporting financial and regulatory agencies.
  • Extensive background in strategic planning, customer engagement, procurement strategy, and modernization implementation.
  • PMP certification or ability to obtain.
  • Proven experience in managing performance frameworks and operational excellence in compliance-driven environments.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with senior government executives and technical teams.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an MBI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree is a plus
  • Prior experience within the SEC and/or leading programs at federal financial organizations.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise platforms, cloud transformation, and data integration strategies in financial regulatory environments.
  • Experience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams across geographically dispersed sites.

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
