Job Description

As Quality Manufacturing and Engineering (QME) Office Administrator you will report to the Manager, Chemistry and Materials Engineering. You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations within Rockwell's manufacturing and engineering labs. You will manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and compliance, facilitating efficient communication between engineers, scientists, and leadership teams. With strong organizational skills and attention to detail, you will help to optimize productivity and ensure that teams function smoothly.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Performs various administrative duties as needed for various departments
  • Supports multiple locations/teams; works closely with Engineers and Scientists
  • Reviews, screens and directs mail, telephone calls and visitors
  • Utilizes SAP, SharePoint and other software systems to create and maintain databases and develop necessary reports
  • Anticipates and prepares materials needed by management for meetings/conferences
  • Maintains records of department and project budgets. Monitors p-card expenses and reports all budgetary exceptions
  • Responsible for monthly billing for lab services provided to external customers
  • Prepares legal Terms & Conditions Agreements for outside customers
  • Prepares purchase orders, tracks and expedites orders for lab supplies
  • Manages office supplies for multiple departments
  • Acts as a SharePoint super-user for department databases
  • Coordinates typically one large internal technical event annually
  • Monitors capital and expense activities and assures accurate payment of bills.
  • Schedules meetings and makes travel arrangements as required
  • Uses technology appropriately to improve output of work.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of administrative support experience
  • Experience with SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Sharepoint, Outlook, Teams and Excel
  • Prior experience in manufacturing
  • Experience supporting multiple locations
