Our Team

Chentronics, a leader in High Energy Ignition (HEI) and flame detection technologies serving industries such as power generation, petrochemical, marine, and green energy, is offering a dynamic Summer Operations Internship. This program is designed to provide recent high school graduates with comprehensive exposure to various facets of our manufacturing and business operations. Interns will gain hands-on experience and insights into how our innovative products are designed, built, and delivered to clients worldwide.

What You Will Do

  • Support Manufacturing & Engineering - Assist in the assembly and testing of HEI systems and flame detection equipment while learning the basics of technical drawings and dimensioning.
  • Engage with Procurement & Supply Chain - Gain insight into material sourcing, inventory tracking, and vendor coordination by participating in real-world purchasing and logistics activities.
  • Contribute to Operations Management - Help identify process improvements, observe resource planning, and understand how we drive efficiency throughout our facility.
  • Shadow Sales & Customer Experience Teams - Learn how we interact with customers, manage orders, and deliver high-quality service from inquiry to delivery.
  • Explore EH&S Best Practices - Get hands-on exposure to safety protocols, environmental standards, and compliance practices that keep our workplace safe and efficient.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program. (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
