Foley & Lardner is seeking a corporate associate with 4-6 years of relevant experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in our Salt Lake City office. Foley's Transactions Practice Group is integrated nationally and principally involves M&A and securities matters for publicly and privately held middle market/upper middle market companies and private equity firms. This position involves primarily working on US and international M&A transactions and requires an associate who is comfortable working on teams and having regular, direct interaction with partners, senior associates, and clients. The associate will be joining an energetic and collaborative culture that values character, work ethic and personal/professional development.
Qualified candidates will have experience representing clients in a variety of complex corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance, securities, and other commercial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong document drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice. In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary range for this position is between $290,000 - $370,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
