Job Description

The Assistant Director, Paul & Lynn Ann Vogel Master of Accountancy and Integrated Program is an integral part of the Trulaske College of Business. This individual provides an integrated approach between our undergraduate and graduate students to ensure a successful transition. The role includes, but is not limited to:

* Student admissions, advising, course planning, professional development, internships, placement, study abroad, and teaching.

* Assist with admissions and advising process

* Facilitate course planning, demand forecasting, and examination of curricular issues

* Serve as liaison among School of Accountancy, Business Career Services, and accounting firm recruiters to promote student internships and placements

* Follow up on enrollment, internship, and permanent employment data and reporting

* Keep track of professional development program (Edge) points/attendance at Speaker's Series events

* Assist with fixing degree audits

* Follow up with graduate school paperwork (e.g., Dual Enrollment/Transfer to Graduate School/M-1's )

* Update/maintain accountancy database

* Assist in market analysis for program initiatives, certificate/degree programs and extensions

* Utilize social media to develop school communications

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM, with some occasions where availability required after hours

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate must have attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Must exhibit a professional demeanor and possess the ability to work with people at all levels.

Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to appropriately, discretely, and effectively handle and communicate sensitive information.

Work collaboratively with others.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $52,915 - $66,500 a year

Grade: GGS 10
