Who we are looking for:
The Specialized Industries Relationship Manager will lead and direct sales efforts to Specialized Industries including, but not limited to Title Industry Banking, 1031 Exchange, Trust, Property Management, and additional industries. This position will grow and develop new businesses within these industries and provide relationship management.

What you'll do:



  • Lead sales efforts within specialized industries, prospecting, calling, and networking to grow our client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the industries we serve.
  • Network and enhance the Cornerstone brand throughout these industry lines.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments while identifying needs for innovation and expansion.
  • Local travel will be up to 55% and out-of-town travel will be 45%, our headquarters is in Houston, TX.


What you'll need to be successful:

Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude. In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:



  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • 5-8 years experience in treasury management, business development, and or sales in a related industry.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, negotiate terms, and close deals
  • Understanding of specific industries including Title, 1031 Exchange, Trust and Property Management preferred
  • Analyze client needs, develop and present treasury solutions, and negotiate pricing strategies.
  • Ability to generate fee income and new deposits through new business development and cross-selling.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • The ability to identify and qualify potential new customers.
  • The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Extraordinary levels of motivation and initiative
  • Effective team player who wants to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and build working relationships across the organization
  • Must be proficient with organizational skills, ability to identify and solve problems/issues, and be able to manage multiple workstreams
