Lubbock Payroll Analyst 41242BR Payroll and Tax Services Position Description As an analyst in the Payroll & Tax Department, you will support our team members by working in the processing area. This area within our department processes the on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls. We are a shared service for Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Systems, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso chart of accounts. You will need to be able to communicate efficiently and in a timely manner with each chart of account. We are looking for a person with an eye for detail, strong mathematical problem-solving skills and a positive outlook. In this role, you will be responsible for working payment requests and processing them in a timely manner to meet our deadlines. You will need to communicate with other team members throughout the process to ensure productivity and efficiency. About the Department and/or College Payroll & Tax Services is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join a great team that operates as a shared service for all Texas Tech University institutions. The department facilitates payroll and tax payments and associated reporting while ensuring compliance with internal policy and external regulations. Major/Essential Functions
