This role is part of Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE), supporting Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows of the future, shared solutions and standards, simplicity and lower costs, and manufacturable design.

As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will perform Application Administration tasks for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of Blue Origin's requirements management using JAMA Connect. You will be a top Jama superuser, train user-base, provide technical user support, perform database maintenance, help us implement smart processes that leverage the toolset's capabilities, and ensure the ongoing health of the application.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the administration of the Jama application including user support and issue resolution, development and delivery of Jama training and reference materials, solving problems, and collaborating with the Jama Support team.
  • Further you will support the development and advancement of the JAMA requirements management system, train users on how to use JAMA based on the Blue Origin systems engineering approach, support of configuration and data management (CDM) activities for JAMA.
  • Your role will also include performing complete data quality and completeness checks for JAMA reviews, helping the team set item types, fields, link types, and relationship model, setting and managing user permissions in JAMA, as well as suggesting new processes and implementing effective change management as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degreein Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 yearsof experience in requirements management using JAMA or similar tools.
  • Proven experiencein software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Experiencewith configuration management and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Proficiencyin JAMA Software requirements management tool.
  • Strong understandingof systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Experiencewith creating, managing, and tracing requirements.
  • Knowledgeof industry standards for requirements management (e.g., IEEE 830).
  • Familiaritywith integrated development environments (IDEs) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Basic understandingof SQL for database querying.
  • Basic understanding of scripting languages
  • Excellent communication skillsto collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical thinkingand problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detailto ensure accuracy in requirements documentation.
  • Ability to workin a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Team playerwith a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain positive and professional relationships
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)orProject Management Professional (PMP).
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)orEntry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA).
  • Experiencein the aerospace or defense industry is a plus.
  • Knowledgeof model-based systems engineering (MBSE) is beneficial.
  • Familiaritywith other requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS NG).

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $108,795.00-$152,311.95
