Core Responsibilities:



  • Communicate with HSE, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Planners, Supervisor(s) and Ops Manager.
  • Hold daily "kickoff" meetings with team members in your area of responsibility.
  • Schedule work flow for areas of responsibility based on customer demand/need.
  • Schedule manpower for areas of responsibility based on customer demand/need.
  • Maintain production tracking information.
  • Identify any gaps in Manpower, Machine, or Material and resolve/escalate as needed.
  • Direct assistance with execution of OTD.
  • Direct responsibility for efficiency, utilization and scrap metrics.
  • Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring new and tenured employees.
  • Provide feedback to the Supervisor and Ops Manager on employee performance.
  • Support, direct and ensure accountability for employees within your area of responsibility.
  • Identify areas of opportunity or improvement and work to get implemented.
  • Identify cross training opportunities and communicate to the Supervisor.
  • Manage employee cross training and ensure that the proper documentation is maintained.
  • Communicate all process and technical data changes to the operators.
  • Be signed off in each area that is under your responsibility.
  • Fill production gaps as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining Gate Gemba Boards.
  • Perform TPM and Turnover audits (daily).


Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in a leadership role.
  • Ability to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply, or divide. May work with fractions, decimals or percentages.
  • Ability to communicate verbally or in writing effectively to others.
  • Must have excellent organization, people skills, and experience working with others effectively.
  • Working towards or willing to complete degree program preferred.


Education Requirements



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
