Senior Test Engineer

Nokia of America Corporation, Senior Test Engineer (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA.

• Perform quality assurance testing of Nuage's software defined network product, VSP (Virtualized Service Platform) and interact extensively with software, hardware, and firmware teams.
• Develop and execute sophisticated software tests to verify conformance of networking feature(s) functionality implemented by Engineering against requirements specifications laid out by Product Marketing.
• Automate test cases using Python based infrastructure and maintain the existing automation framework.
• Work in system design so that Quality Assurance is considered throughout the entire lifecycle of the Nuage VSP Feature Set.
• Enhance Test strategies, Automation & Build infrastructure with feedback and analysis from real-world Customer deployments.
• Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output.
• Responsible for contribution to teamwork.
• Carries out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines.
• Demonstrate initiative and adaptability to changing business environments. #LI-DNI

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following:

• Experience in at least 7 of the following testing security features and security protocols: VxLAN, MPLS, VPLS, IP-VPN, BFD, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, BGP-EVPN, or Openflow;
• Virtualized Networking Services Products, including OpenVswitch, KVM, Docker or data forwarding technology including DPDK;
• Ixia, Spirent, Trex, Iperf, Nping, or Scappy;
• Jira, Jenkins, or Github
• Selenium, Restapis and MySQL
• Automate test cases using in-house Python based infrastructure.
