The Division of Infectious Diseases and Dr. Delivette Castor is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research scientist (PhD or MD/PhD) to study epidemiology of infectious disease, implementation science related to infectious disease and long-term complications of infectious diseases. Projects include providing support to the Clinical Trials Unit and Infection Associated Chronic Illnesses Clinic in the department of medicine. The selected candidate is expected to take the lead role in projects, support grant applications and manuscripts and contribute to supervising students and staff. We seek an energetic, inquisitive scientist who will work in a highly collaborative environment and who demonstrates critical thinking and scientific rigor. The laboratory is located in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center, providing the candidate access to world-class resources and a highly collaborative, enriching scientific environment. Qualifications: 1. A Ph.D. in epidemiology or a related field 2. Track record of first author publications 3. Experience leading qualitative and quantitative analyses 4.
