Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to join our team in North America as a Global Supply Chain Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain & Procurement within the Controls division of Danfoss Power Solutions, you will be part of a dynamic cross-functional team in support of the Orbital and Gear Solutions (OGS) business. In this role, you will ensure that our supply chain processes are efficient, well implemented, and globally aligned to achieve the company's strategic objectives

You will be responsible for the identification, development and implementation of process improvements throughout the organization, and you encourage, challenge and coach others to obtain a high degree of organizational awareness and cooperation.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following

* Ensure alignment of supply chain processes across plants.
* Proactively map current processes and identify areas for improvement in the end-to-end supply chain (Service level agreements, material flows, ERP setup).
* Work with business unit & plant supply chain colleagues to develop, document, and execute strategies to support business objectives for sales, profit, and working capital.
* Support plant supply chain teams in deep diving & executing specific opportunities to meet KPI targets (OTD, Delinquency, Inventory, Sales, etc.)
* Facilitate multi-site customer escalations & recovery plans with regards to on-time delivery and delinquencies.
* Do ad hoc tasks where the perspective might be analytical/project-oriented and related to a specific topic in supply chain and other functional areas.
* You should be willing and able to travel 10-20 days a year.

Background & Skills

Qualifications
* You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
* You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain - preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Additionally, you have:
* Project & stakeholder management skills.
* Worked in high-performance environments where meeting challenging targets is part of the culture.
* Analytical skills and an eye for details as well as an independent and structured working style.
* The ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organization. Experience in building relations and cooperating across cultures and geography will be an advantage.
* Excellent English proficiency - oral and written

Preferred qualifications
* Expertise in an MRP environment.
* High level of proficiency in MS Office tools, SAP, and PowerBI.
* Understanding of Lean management and other continuous improvement methods.
