Qualifications * Experience in Performance test scripting using JMeter, K6, and other tools * Experience working with any APM tool Dynatrace/Skywalking * Experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins or similar tool) and Continuous Testing Responsibilities * Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability * Work with Domain teams to understand workload models for each system and gather Performance Requirements * Create performance test plans and scenarios and develop test scripts in Jmeter/K6 to meet the objectives of the performance test plan * Perform Load tests using Load Runner and analyze root causes of performance issues and recommend corrective actions * Automate Performance testing and integrate it to the existing CI/CD pipelines for a better user experience * Setup performance test and performance regression testing guidelines and standards * Perform Chaos testing using litmus chaos and set up standards for CI/CD integration * Will provide guidance to QA and QE teams that are performing a variety of Performance testing and nonfunctional validation during all phases of a given development process * This person will work closely with internal clients, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and developers to recommend, design, and implement effective orchestration of Performance Engineering solutions * They will develop and maintain the strategy roadmap, setup appropriate test systems, develop required logic and controller programs as necessary, to create and maintain performance capabilities * Being able to create roadmaps within QA and QE that will have strong impact to many of WPS's business areas and the company as a whole * Working in a transformative environment focused on strategic quality, deployment and development throughout the company * Being a thought leader at WPS and seeing the fruits of your efforts realized through modernization and innovation The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 105,000 to140,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
