Position Purpose
Under limited supervision, ensures designated clinical and other spaces within the Health Service facility at a hospital level of cleanliness by coordinating with Dartmouth FO&M Custodial Service, and external vendors as needed. Works with all departments within Health Services and coordinates with Dartmouth FO&M Work Control Office and other parties as needed, reporting all appropriate building and equipment repair and other maintenance requests. Performs central administrative functions for the Health Service such as supply inventory management and tracking of building keys.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp High School plus 1-2 year(s) of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • High School degree
  • 1 year relevant experience
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office software applications


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree
  • 3 years relevant experience in a health care or similar setting
  • Driver's license

Manages the health services key system and requests to access controls and coordinates office moves as needed.

Description
Responds to and reports repair and maintenance concerns observed in the building or as reported from Health Service departments. Completes and submits work order requests through FO&M Work Control system and follows up on incomplete work requests.

Description
Manages central administrative functions such as mail handling, delivery and distribution, manages building recycling program and shredding of confidential medical information
and medical waste removal.

Description
Monitors and replenishes clinical supplies in exam rooms and inpatient department. Manage storerooms and inventory to ensure appropriate supply levels for linens, clinical supplies, cleaning supplies, bathroom supplies, office supplies and other items.

Description
Supports compliance efforts by arranging and tracking regular fire drills and participating in the annual DHHS building life safety survey, conducts monthly life safety rounds to keep the buildings in compliance with state regulations.
