We are seeking a Project Scheduling & Systems Engineering Specialist to drive efficiency and streamline project workflows using Microsoft Project Server and key Microsoft Office applications. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining schedules for developmental systems, production systems, and short-term/long-term organizational projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage detailed project schedules integrating Systems Engineering principles.
  • Configure and maintain MS Project Server environments on virtual machines.
  • Collaborate with developmental & operational teams to define project structures and optimize workflows.
  • Leverage advanced graphing, filtering, and scripting technologies to build dynamic, automated reports.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and establish cross-dependencies across projects.
  • Provide technical training and presentations to users, ensuring seamless integration of custom-developed workflows.

Qualifications

Required

  • Must possess and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph
  • High School Diploma or GED plus eighteen (16) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of twelve (10) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
  • Master's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of ten (8) years of general systems engineering experience.
  • Strong Systems Engineering background, with experience in project scheduling & workflow automation.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Project Server, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and application plug-ins.
  • Ability to develop advanced reporting templates using scripting technologies.
  • Exceptional technical communication & presentation skills.
  • A strategic mindset, eager to drive efficiency and collaboration.

Desired

  • High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of twenty (20) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
  • Master's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of eighteen (18) years of general systems engineering experience.
  • Experience in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) with experience analyzing portfolio and program schedules, issues, and risks.
  • Familiarity with Project Web App/Project Online.
  • Ability to create data filters and formulas based on discrete logic.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining program Roadmaps and Integrated Multi-project Schedule(i.e. projects with sub-projects).
  • Demonstrated ability using built-in Microsoft graphing and charting tools to generate reports and report templates.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
