- Command Production Priorities: Take charge by evaluating customer expedite requests and tight lead-time orders, skillfully balancing production capabilities with business plans and customer needs to keep everything on track.
- Collaborate to Solve Complex Challenges: Partner with cross-functional teams and management to tackle unique, high-impact issues that could affect sales and delivery. Lead continuous improvement efforts by recommending smart, game-changing enhancements to our planning processes.
- Be the Go-To Production Expert: Serve as the primary internal point of contact for everything production-related-from schedule updates and shipping info to handling returned materials-while dynamically adjusting the master schedule to meet evolving demands.
- Orchestrate Production Plans: Develop and publish detailed, actionable production schedules that clearly outline products, equipment, sequences, and deadlines. Adapt quickly to material shortages or capacity constraints by proposing creative alternatives that keep the business moving forward.
- Drive Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on schedule adherence with precision, analyzing data to identify bottlenecks and delivering effective solutions that boost efficiency.

Education and Experience
- Minimum: High School Diploma with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience required.
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Certification: APICS certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in performing essential production planning functions, typically gained through 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing resource planning or related roles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced expertise in manufacturing resource planning (MRP) principles, automated systems, and industry best practices, including regulations and policies.
- Proven ability to lead and implement continuous improvement methodologies such as pull systems and Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing.
- Thorough understanding of MRP systems and their interface operations, with proficiency in standard business software applications.
- Familiarity with indented bills of material, manufacturing process instructions, and product drawings.
- Strong analytical skills to tackle complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation, negotiation, and innovative solutions.
- Capability to solve a wide range of unique and complex problems, often requiring new approaches or modifications to standard procedures.
- Skilled in reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex policies and recommending procedural improvements.
- Ability to manage a high volume of inquiries from internal customers efficiently and professionally.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and speeches on complex topics to senior management, customers, and boards of directors.
- Proficient in problem definition, data collection, fact establishment, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, goal-setting, performance feedback, and continuous self-development.
