Job Overview

We have an opportunity for an Regional Controller to join our team in Billings, MT. The Regional Controller will support internal and external customer requests to help analyze/understand key financial information for the region.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Support for regional management leadership team to help analyze/understand/report on key financial information for the region.
  • Service center accounting support including accounting practices, proper GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and Internal controls, SAP support, process improvement, service orders, revenue recognition, and financial analysis as well as all clerical accounting responsibilities.
  • Supportthe commercial team to review new machine and rental contracts to ensure appropriate terms and conditions. Work with leadership team to manage revenue recognition and best practice for system steps/process.
  • Prepare annual and quarterly Income Statement and Balance Sheet plans and in connection with the annual plans, coordinate the preparation of departmental budgets.
  • Review all cost center data compared to budget and communicate variances to leadership team as appropriate.
  • Review E&O quarterly and book appropriate reserves. Oversee warranty process and communicate with factory for recovery.
  • Prepare all financial analysis and supporting documentation to support capital expenditure requests.
  • Perform manual journal entriesas needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting with 5-7 years of accounting experience
  • CPA ispreferred but not required
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially strong with data analysis
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
