Loras College invites applications for an adjunct faculty position beginning August 2025 to teach COM 110 Oral Communication as Critical Inquiry in the Fall 2025 semester. COM 110 is a requirement for all business, elementary and secondary education majors, and is a popular elective for students looking to build their communication and presentation skills. The course content and experiences will enable students to assume their responsibilities as message creators, senders, receivers, and evaluators in a culturally diverse world. If hired, the instructor is required to teach in-person on the Loras College campus. There are two sections offered, currently scheduled T/TH 9:30 - 10:50 am and T/TH 12:30-1:50 pm.

A minimum of a Master's in Communications or a related degree is required, and teaching experience is preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
