Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Design and develop batch/ETL interfaces using the proprietary meta data driven approach as part of the LIBRA Interface Team Maintain and support the existing interface processes including investigation of issues and production troubleshooting Maintain the data lineage to facilitate the end to end traceability as and when changes to the ETL Responsible for Liquidity report specific derivations Implement ETL solutions for large volume of data by applying various data warehouse modeling techniques like Star Schema, Data partitioning, Data compression, Direct path loads, etc. and that maximizes re-usable components and services that incorporate versioning, reconciliation and exception handling Maintain high standard and follow best practices by re-factoring existing code to enhance readability, performance and general structure Requirements: 7-10 years' experience in Oracle Exadata, SQL, PL/SQL 2-3 years' experience in SQL Performance tuning Perform application tuning using various tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, SQLTRACE, TKPROF, AUTOTRACE and AWR Reports Clear understanding of Oracle Server Process Architecture and memory structures PGA (Program Global Areas) SGA (System Global Areas) to optimize memory usage Knowledge about Oracle VPD Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills Knowledge about Oracle architecture and process Knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms Experience with Analytic reporting tools like Tableau Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysis with strong communication skills Experience working in regulatory projects is strongly desirable Experience working in Containers Knowledge of Apache Airflow Experience in CICD, Jenkins, Git Experience working in Agile teams Desired skills:* Knowledge of Python Pay Range: $58.26-$66.26 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
