Job Title: Mainframe Support/Developer IV Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid 3 Days onsite model) Duration:6+ Months Team: Data Warehouse, systems and DBA which is part of a larger Medicare Statistical Analysis Department. Responsibilites: * Run, monitor, and maintain existing processes for daily/monthly data loading. * Work action requests from customers when assigned. * Work assigned days as "Hot Seat" routing new customer requests to the team. * Work on mainframe recoding project to use utilities and modern languages to move data from mainframe to DB2/Data Warehouse. * Participate in regular meetings and workgroups with data analytics staff. Required Technologies: * Job Control Language (JCL) * Mainframe recoding (COBOL and/or SAS to utilities and JAVA) * Mainframe utility programs like IDCAMS and SORT * DB2 Connect Nice To Have : * Experience with file transfers using Connect: Direct or FTP * Experience with DB2 SQL * Experience with file editing applications like File Master * Data warehouses * Medicare (especially Medicare data) Educational Qualifications : * Bachelor's degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. * Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. Minimum Required Work Experience: * 6 years-of application development, systems testing or other job related experience. | |
