APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
POSITION SPECIFICS The Department of Materials Science and Engineering, in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking a postdoctoral scholar. The final candidate will perform a range of experimental, modeling, and analytical characterization and analysis tasks to evaluate the utility of various materials exposed to extreme environments. The successful candidate will provide materials synthesis and characterization for a research group engaged in a variety of bulk and thin film manufacturing processes. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemistry or related field and should have experience in analytical materials characterization and synthesis. This position is funded for one year with the possibility of renewal based on funding.
