The Sr Accountant (Order to Cash) is responsible for coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement closes, including reconciling, reviewing, and preparing general ledger accounts, journal entries, equity investment accounting for wholly-owned subsidiaries, and fixed asset/construction-in-progress ledgers. The accounting close or project responsibilities involves collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to perform relevant accounting closing activities and specific accounting projects for at least one of the following business cycles: Order to Cash (O2C), Purchase to Payment (P2P), Cash Management, Investment in Fixed Assets and Projects. What Will You Be Doing?
- Contribute to the month-end close process to ensure timely, accurate financial data that is in compliance with GAAP and accounting policies with the ability to communicate status and results.
- May participate in Order to Cash (O2C) Cycle: perform accounting activities related to Accounts Receivable (AR), Revenue, Costs of Sales, Sales allowance, Bad Debt allowance, Cash and Marketing rebates, Goods Shipped not invoiced accrual, etc; assist the Cash Management team with reconciling customer remittances and credit card bank accounts on a monthly basis.
- May participate in Purchase to Payment (P2P) Cycle: perform accounting activities related to Accounts Payable (AP), Inventory costing, Gross Margin Analyses, Inventory reserve, Royalty Payment calculation, Goods Received not invoiced accrual, etc.
- May participate in the Cash Management Cycle: monitor cash position; perform time & expense processing, payroll accounting/accrual, banking activities related to cash investment, ACH/wire payments, credit/virtual card, and 1099 reporting with proper internal controls.
- May participate in the Investment in Fixed Assets and Projects Cycle: aggregate enterprise strategic and project expenditures, on an inception-to-date basis and year-to-date balances, to provide roll forward and comparison to budgets or plans; maintain and reconcile construction in progress, prepaid expenditure, lease accounting, affiliated and unaffiliated loans, and deposits to accurately capture project cost and capitalize expenses under GAAP.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and assist controller in preparation of monthly/quarterly consolidated financial statements.
- Maintain and reconcile property, plant, and equipment accounts and prepare monthly depreciation entries and applicable fixed asset schedules.
- Able to analyze and recommend improvements to major systems, policies and processes, and internal controls over financial reporting.
- Assist with year-end external audit.
- Assist treasury in reconciling customer deposit and credit card bank accounts on a monthly basis.
- Produce all scheduled and ad hoc reports in a timely manner.
- Coordinating detailed work papers to support disclosures and detailed analyses included in monthly financial statements and annual audited statements in accordance with GAAP guidelines.
- May supervise or lead Accountants and other Accounting staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or similar ERP financial system
- Manufacturing & Distribution/Wholesale Apparel background is preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Collaborative and team-oriented work style
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet data manipulation and creation
- Experience in fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
- Ability to communicate across multiple departments
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Self-starter and ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously

What's Our Offer? Salary Range: You`ll earn between $90,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience. Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
