HIRING RANGE: $63,873 - $71,857 annually

POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Inclusive Excellence reports to the Chief Equity Officer and plays a critical institutional leadership role in advancing the College's strategic goals related to servingness, access, equity, and inclusive advancement. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that support the success, advancement, and engagement of all students, employees, and community stakeholders, with particular attention to historically underrepresented and vulnerable populations. Through strategic planning, cross-campus collaboration, and external partnerships, the Manager drives institutional efforts to create a more inclusive environment and strengthen the College's capacity to serve a diverse and dynamic community. This role ensures that initiatives are aligned with the College's core values, strategic goals, and best practices that promote equitable outcomes and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Familiarity with U.S. Department of Education funding as well as private and other public funding.
2.Develop, lead, and implement inclusive initiatives and best practices across the institution that support all students, employees, and community stakeholders, with a focus on historically underrepresented groups, including Latinx, refugee, and immigrant populations, through workshops, resource navigation, and strategic partnerships.

3.Facilitate and coordinate campus-wide educational programming on cultural competency, inclusive excellence, access, and servingness for faculty, staff, students, and community members.
4.Manage logistics for speaker engagements, contracts, institutional programs, and other initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
5.Represent Inclusive Excellence initiatives on campus committees, institutional projects, and community partnerships.
6.Design, monitor, and report on initiatives aimed at improving institutional access, advancement, enrollment, retention, degree completion, and equitable outcomes for both students and employees.
7.Handle confidential matters with discretion, in accordance with institutional policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
8.Demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality improvement and provide outstanding service to internal and external stakeholders.
9.Research and analyze best practices, industry standards, and data trends to inform program development, strategic planning, and institutional sustainability.
10.Collaborate across departments to advance equitable outcomes for employees and students through intentional partnerships and strategic initiatives.
11.Exhibit strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
12.Maintain expert-level knowledge of applicable regulations and institutional policies related to admissions, financial aid, employee advancement, student support, and degree attainment.
13.Engage in community outreach and service through events, volunteer efforts, resource provision, and relationship-building with community-based organizations and local businesses.
14.Perform other duties as assigned in support of institutional priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1.Bachelor's degree in social work, education, business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in program management, social services, higher education, or community-based organizations supporting diverse populations.
3.Demonstrated commitment to advancing student and employee success, access, and opportunity.
4.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related technologies.
5.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated professional with strong time management skills.
6.Demonstrated ability in leadership, project management, and budget management.
7.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
8.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
9.Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.
10.Demonstrated commitment to the college's core values of respect and inclusion, sustainability, integrity, collaboration, humor and well-being, innovation and quality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1.English and Spanish verbal and written communication (Bilingual proficiency).
2.Demonstrated multicultural competence.
3.Experience working with diverse populations.
4.Professional certifications in Project Management, leadership or Cultural Competency 5.Familiarity with data analysis tools and student success and institutional effectiveness metrics.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1.Normal office physical demands.
2.Ability to travel between campus locations and to and from community events.
3.Ability to do a considerable amount of standing and walking.
4.Ability to set-up and clean-up before and after internal/external events.

*Duties are performed indoors in the usual office and/or outdoor environment.
