Job Summary |
We are seeking a dependable and well-organized
Part-Time Food Services member to join our team at the
Callier Child Development Program. This role is essential in supporting daily meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of nutritious meals and snacks, upholding high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations. |
Minimum Education and Experience |
.High school graduate or equivalent. |
Preferred Education and Experience |
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 1-5 years of experience in food service, preferably in a childcare or school setting
- ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and basic computer/data entry skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexible and open to cross-training in all areas of food service operations
- Committed to providing exceptional customer service with a positive and respectful attitude

Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals/snacks for children.
- Follow dietary guidelines and allergy restrictions.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, dishes, and utensils.
- Ensure proper food storage and labeling.
- Assist with inventory and supply management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, designee or Director
