What We're Looking For: Loews Hotels & Co. is seeking a Grounds Person who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the hotel's outdoor spaces, including gardens, walkways, parking areas, and other exterior property grounds. This role ensures all landscaping, lawn care, and seasonal maintenance tasks are performed to uphold the hotel's visual appeal and create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. The groundsperson works closely with the maintenance and housekeeping teams to support the hotel's operational standards. What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the hotel's outdoor grounds, including lawns, gardens, walkways, and parking areas. Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding. Monitor and maintain the irrigation system to ensure proper water distribution. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Inspect and repair outdoor fixtures, pathways, and other property assets as needed. Respond to seasonal weather conditions. Assist with outdoor set-up for special events, including tables, chairs, and other equipment. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel's exterior and entryways. Monitor and maintain outdoor lighting systems to ensure proper function and safety. Assist with the maintenance of water features or other outdoor structures as needed. Follow proper safety protocols and procedures when performing groundskeeping duties. Maintain supplies inventory for landscaping and maintenance equipment as necessary. Collaborate with other hotel departments to support guest satisfaction and property standards. Report any maintenance or safety hazards to supervisors in a timely manner.

Proficiency in operating heavy machinery and landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Ability to walk and move for extended periods while performing maintenance and groundskeeping tasks. Manual dexterity for using tools and performing detailed maintenance work. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
