OverviewThe Global Marketing Engines & Experiences (GME&E) team leads marketing innovation across Microsoft's largest and fastest-growing commercial cloud businesses. In the Microsoft Cloud Social Lead role, you will guide and grow Microsoft Cloud's social media presence, with a focus on AI, cybersecurity, and commercial impact. As part of the Marketing Experiences Social & Creative team, this role will shape editorial direction, manage creative development, and oversee performance across Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft Security social channels. You will collaborate across a diversified and evolving social ecosystem -- including TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Facebook, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn -- to create content that resonates with commercial and technical audiences. In this role, you will exhibit platform fluency, editorial and creative insight, and a forward-thinking approach to content development. In this role, you will communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and be open to experimentation and learning. In this role, you will exhibit knowledge in the B2B (business-to-business) marketing and stakeholder engagement areas. ResponsibilitiesLead social strategy, editorial planning, and content development for Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft Security owned social channels.Translate business goals and messaging priorities into audience-first, channel-specific content strategies that drive measurable impact.Lead content strategy and execution across a range of formats-from always-on editorial content to impactful, time-sensitive campaigns.Manage editorial calendars across platforms, aligning product launches, events, moments, and marketing priorities.Serve as the voice of Microsoft Cloud and Security in cross-functional forums, v-teams, and business reviews.Stay attuned to trends, competitor activity, and social innovation -- and translate insights into actionable recommendations.Manage social agencies and vendors supporting Cloud channels, including performance tracking, feedback loops, and operational alignment.Collaborate across brand, integrated marketing, analytics, engineering, and product teams to ensure Cloud content is accurate, strategic, and impactful.Drive internal alignment through storytelling, stakeholder education, and regular insight sharing across marketing and business stakeholders.Embody our Culture and Values |
