Thompson Center Job Description
The Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders is pleased to announce the opening of a Business Support Specialist II position. This position is responsible for obtaining prior authorizations for all procedures by successfully completing the authorization process with all commercial payors. Duties consist of: Contact insurance carriers to verify patient's insurance eligibility, benefits, and prior authorization requirements. Successful candidates will need organizational and time management skills. They will need to have the ability to multitask and remain focused while managing a high-volume and time-sensitive workload. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas. Shift
Monday - Friday Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
1 year of Previous experience working in RevCycle and/or Powerchart is preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $17 - $22 hourly Application Materials
