We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for leading the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of access control systems across commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities * Lead and oversee the installation of access control systems including card readers, electric strikes, maglocks, and control panels. * Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations. * Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely project completion. * Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety procedures. * Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning. * Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service calls. * Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and company standards. Qualifications * 3+ years of experience in access control or low-voltage system installation. * Proven leadership or supervisory experience in the field. * Strong understanding of access control hardware and software (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, HID, etc.). * Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record. * Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, manufacturer training) are a plus.
