FSCA also services customers utilizing its 20+ nationwide service centers; each offering accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair. We are supported by a 24/7 in-house call-center and provide scheduled maintenance services and unscheduled services to fleets anywhere, anytime.

FSCA is currently hiring a Service Writer II join our team to support future growth of the Company.

Responsibilities

  • Create vehicle repair service Estimates based on compiled information from Mobile Technicians and Customers
  • Professionally communicate and deliver quotes to customers.
  • Serve as a trustworthy advocate for the customer by providing sound guidance and advice regarding any customer technical inquiries or general questions related to products and services provided by the company.
  • Follow up on outstanding quotes and prioritize workflow to ensure effectiveness.
  • Collect miscellaneous information and parts pricing from various manufacturers and vendors.
  • Review, revise existing and generate additional repair estimates at customers request and specifications.
  • Move and park units in shop parking lot as part of intake process.
  • Inputting Repair Orders into the company system (Pulse).


Education

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; or 5 years' experience in a related field.


Experience

  • Seven (7) years of experience as an Estimator in a diesel vehicle service department or dealership environment preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Mitchell One, Pulse, or similar systems
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and phone) and customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, emails, typing, etc.) / software navigation capabilities to generate repair estimates.
  • Previous experience working as a Diesel Mechanic is preferred but not required.
  • The Ability to diagnose problems is preferred but not required.

USD 17.74 - 26.59 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $17.74 - $26.59/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
