What we do: Air Transport International (ATI) is an experienced supplemental carrier with the ability to reach across the globe. ATI is an FAR Part 121 charter airline headquartered in Wilmington, Ohio, and operates a worldwide fleet of Boeing 757 and 767 cargo and combi passenger aircraft. ATI specializes in freight forwarding, government and military contracts. ATI is a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, Inc. Purpose: The staff accountant is responsible for ensuring customers are billed accurately and in accordance with established monthly, quarterly and year-end schedules. This includes but is not limited to Amazon Ground Training, Amazon c-check materials, USTRANSCOM military flights (in SAP and WAWF), reimbursable items, part sales, and other ad hoc billing as required. The staff accountant will prepare S1/S2 reports to support the USTRANSCOM military contract. Other duties may include preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis and special projects as assigned. This position will assist the Accounting Supervisor with adhering to strong internal controls to comply with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and may be required to assist in audits, including financial and the Defense Contract Audit. The Staff Accountant will be a member of the ATI Finance Team and as such, confidentiality, tact, sensitivity, and professionalism are essential ingredients of performance. Job Functions:
