JOB TITLE: Associate - SR8548624

Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. seeks an Associate in New York, NY to conduct comparisons across domestic and international central banks to evaluate policy making and policy rate decisions based on economic conditions. Requires a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Economics, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience applying statistical models, econometric methods and advanced forecasting techniques for key economic variables, including GDP, unemployment, inflation, interest rate, and exchange rate, to assess economic conditions and implications for monetary policy making; utilizing Python, R, Matlab, Stata, and Eviews to develop simulation models, construct scenario analysis for economic variables, including GDP, unemployment rate and inflation, and assess potential policy implications and risk considerations; contributing macroeconomic data analysis and thematic economic research to publications, and analyzing financial markets; using Bloomberg and Haver Analytics to collect U.S. financial and macroeconomic data and analyze economic and financial conditions based on the health of U.S. labor market, growth potential, and inflation trajectory; identifying shifts in the views of Federal Reserve officials and assessing their reaction function and risk considerations; initiating research ideas to publish as ad hoc notes and writing commercially significant research publications; and answering media survey on the broad macroeconomic conditions from Reuters and Bloomberg. Salary range: $170,000.00 - $180,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
