About the Role:

Responsible for the development of all branded peer medical education content, including peer-to-peer and product theater presentations. Overall responsibility for execution of national product theaters. Contributes to annual speaker training, brand planning process, and budget planning.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Proactively utilizes customer and market insights to enhance peer medical education and national product theater content consistent with overall brand direction

  • Responsible for P2P Content Guidance Advisory Board Meeting series including Needs Assessment and content outline

  • Develops all peer education content, including content for any new program formats and all P2P presentation decks

  • Manages the Field Speaker Training process, including content and communication for those speakers who qualify

  • Manages annual speaker FAQ document and debrief decks

  • Develops Speaker Training content including general session presentations and workshop facilitation guides; manages PRC review

  • Collaborates with agency partner to manage comments and changes to P2P content from Field Sales and HCPs

  • Manages the annual P2P content development process

  • Develops content for national and regional product theaters, HDC patient / caregiver program content

  • Manages national product theaters, including congress strategy, faculty selection, and execution. Develops Needs Assessments for national in-person and national virtual product theaters

  • Acts as lead contact for the RMM and Field Medical teams for topics within role

  • Owner and point of contact for Medical Marketing agency partner (HWP) Scientific and Account teams

  • Participates in Medical Marketing budgeting process as needed; manages accruals and related expenses for national product theaters

  • Works collaboratively with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to all applicable guidelines and requirements

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in marketing or life sciences and 6+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in a patient marketing role for a pharmaceutical, biotech or device company. Direct-to-consumer experience a plus OR

  • Master's degree marketing or life sciences or MBA preferred and 4+ years of experience noted above

  • Experience working to implement patient marketing programs with measurable business impact

  • Experience managing patient ambassador programs

  • Expertise managing multiple vendors and agency partners, including creative AoR and patient engagement agency

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills in large audience settings

  • Proven track record of working effectively with regulatory, legal and medical teams in approval of multiple promotional materials

  • Track record of strong cross functional relationships with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Advocacy, Compliance, marketing and corporate communications

  • Significant experience in handling comprehensive budgets including assessing level of investment, tactical planning, budget allocation, timely initiation of projects and billing to keep on track against planned quarterly targets

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $130,100.00-$188,550.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
