Hemodialysis Tech Trainee

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hemodialysis Trainee is the entry-level position for the role of Hemodialysis Technician. The Hemodialysis Trainee initiates, monitors and discontinues outpatient hemodialysis treatments under the supervision of an RN and a preceptor (during the orientation period). The technician trainee has 18 months from hire date to pass the National Hemodialysis Technician Certification Exam.

While this position is Part Time, Tech Trainees are required to train for the first 12 weeks of employment on a Full Time (36 hour/week) basis. Part Time training cannot be accommodated.

HS Graduate

EXPERIENCE:

Prior health care experience preferred
