The Associate Vice President (AVP), Provider Network Development (SMG) serves as a key operational leader and external representative for the WVUHS Medical Group (SMG). Focused on the hands-on execution of provider growth, integration, and alignment, the AVP works closely with internal teams and community stakeholders to identify opportunities, lead practice transitions, and strengthen relationships across the network.
This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of onboarding new providers and practices into SMG, ensuring a seamless and collaborative experience for all involved. The AVP plays a central role in advancing access, enhancing market presence, and supporting the implementation of the SMG Strategic Plan in partnership with senior leadership. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field AND five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, strategy, or provider relations. 2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field AND seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, strategy, or provider relations.
