Position Title: Part Time Production Team Support
Wage: $18.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience Shift: 1st (Part-Time) Hours: 20-25 hours per week Are you ready to work for a company where your craftsmanship actually matters, and you're not just another cog in the machine? We're looking for a detail-oriented, experienced machinist who's confident with micrometers, dial bore gauges, hand tools, and precision measuring. Production Team Support Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate boring machines and finish grinders. - Sandblast and mask parts with precision. - Operate grinding machines to finish workpieces, ensuring smooth surfaces and adherence to tolerances. - Handle cylinder logistics. - Perform highly accurate measurements. - Monitor and adjust sandblasting pressure and materials to achieve optimal results. - Use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specified tolerances. - Utilize strong mechanical aptitude to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with machines, tools, and equipment used in the manufacturing process. - Perform basic repairs and adjustments to machinery, ensuring it operates efficiently and within specifications. - Leverage knowledge of mechanical systems to support preventive maintenance and ensure equipment longevity.
