The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services and background checks. Job Skills / Requirements $17.50 per hour! WHAT YOU MUST HAVE: VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, CURRENT or RENEWABLE (less than 5 years past expiration date) WI Security License, Must have own vehicle, Must be available 1st and 2nd shift. Shifts: Monday through Thursday 2:00 PM - 8: 00 PM Days will vary between Monday through Thursday 2-3 days a week. Hours will remain the same. Location: Wausau Hiring ASAP! Our ideal Candidate: We are seeking a professional and alert Security Guard to maintain safety and order within our clients facility. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations involving members of the public, including individuals who are homeless. Responsibilities include enforcing facility rules, de-escalating disturbances (e.g., excessive noise, loitering, suspected drug activity), and working closely with management and local authorities when needed. Prior experience in a similar role and the ability to remain calm under pressure is essential. Minimum Requirements: Pass background check Must pass on-site drug test at time of hire Must be 18 years of age or older Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability. Strong attention to detail Must be able to be professional in all settings, have open communication with Operations Manager and be able to learn quickly. Have reliable transportation Strong attention to detail Must be responsible and dependable Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Must not have any felonies. Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person license. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Conduct random foot patrols - Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules - Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security - Warn violators of premise rules and regulations - Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts - Report any facility issues - Request emergency personnel for high risk situations when applicable - MUST be able to work well with the public at all times. -De-escalation and customer service skills are key for this position. -Provide a strong front and support staff when necessary.
