Summary: The Medical Triage personnel is responsible for taking incoming patient calls and delegating requests appropriately. Delivers quality customer service over the phone and engages in positive relationships with patients. Responsibilities: * Provides excellent customer service when interacting with patients and all office visitors. * Distinguishes best course of action to address patient needs based on information gathered through conversation. * Consults with providers to clarify and obtain information regarding office visit, post operative, and medication questions from patients. * Directs patient medication refills with providers via EPIC. * Collaborates with various departments regarding patient care. * Updates patient records in EPIC. * Carries out resending of work notes, scheduling patient appointments, sending patient orders and assisting with providing patient call backs regarding test results. Other Information Other information: Qualifications Required * High School Diploma or equivalent. * CMA Certification. * Four (4) years' experience work in a medical office/clinic. * Experience working in or with Electronic Medical Recordkeeping (EMR). * Effective verbal and written communication.
