• Henry Ford Health System is looking for a qualified intern to join our Health Education Team.
• The Health Education Intern will serve as a paid peer educator for our summer program.
• The position is for 6 weeks, Monday thru Thursday, starting at the end of June and ending in early August (exact dates to be determined).
• The position is part-time and will be approximately 24 hours per week.
• This position is for a high school aged youth who is passionate about sexual health education.
• Under supervision, the research student will be provided with the opportunity to be mentored by professionals in their chosen research field, to become familiar with the use of state-of-the-art scientific equipment and technology, and to learn valuable interpersonal and presentation skills.
• The goal is to expose aspiring researchers and clinicians to exciting advances in biomedical sciences that will help define their career paths.
