Sample Planning Receiver, your new opportunity?

As a Sample Planning Receiver you will be the first point of contact for incoming customer requests to the Givaudan Sampling work queue. You will perform tasks necessary to assess and distribute each sample request to the appropriate person(s).

Core Responsabilities:

• Consistently monitor the incoming Sampling work queue and evaluate flavor and material availability based on stock levels, quantity and quality
• Evaluate and print appropriate sample requests for shipment of "in stock" and "transfer" requests; and release to the Filling lab
• Enter Transfers to fulfill requests for off-site stock
• Assign non-stocked flavor requests to the appropriate Production Planner for manufacturing
• Track and level load Planners' assignments.
• Use knowledge of special handling required for high profile, critical select customer requests
• Process customer requests from the international queue using additional systems (such as "Ask Me" and "Atlas") and requests that require additional testing, documents or specific forms for shipment
• May manage other internal processes such as inventory management and reporting
• Maintain the Internal "Tracking" Notes in LCMS to track progress of request, delays, late codes, etc.
• Keep Customer Care and NA Sales Support group advised on sample issues impacting service levels.
• Communication with internal and external contacts is required
• Perform a daily review of your own work queue - including maintenance of Backlog, Entering correct Late Order Reason Coding with updated notes, regular follow-up if orders are not progressing, and knowing when to escalate to Management
• General understanding of Sample Planning and involvement with each Process Code.

You?

High School diploma or equivalent required

• 2+ years of related experience, or 1+ years of experience with Associates degree in a related field
• Fluent in English
• SAP, Excel
