What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions. This role exists to assist in forward looking opportunities of US Medical Products and Distribution (USMPD) Commercial functions, specifically finance, through analytics and process improvement.

Job Summary

Strategic finance business partner supporting USMPD Commercial leaders and support functions through centralized reporting, analytics, and process improvement. This role is critical in enabling better decision support, improved forecasting, and unlocking a more effective cross-functional USMPD commercial organization. Responsibilities include defining USMPD Commercial Data Strategy, improved analytics and reporting for USMPD leaders, and elevating FP&A processes and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Communication of existing USMPD Commercial Analytics solutions to executive leadership.
  • Design and development of improved USMPD Commercial Analytics solutions to executive leadership.
  • Lead USMPD Commercial reporting efforts to improve effectiveness.
  • Act as key stakeholder to USMPD commercial data strategy by improving data architecture and transparent data attributes.
  • Establish enhanced finance processes through centralized forecast models, streamlined variance analysis, and other core FP&A opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase complimentary processes.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and financial transparency within the team.

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience preferred
  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Advanced data analytics experience preferred. Experience in Google BigQuery, Tableau, or equivalent solutions preferred.
  • Business partnering and strong communication skills preferred

Anticipated salary range:$103,500 - $155,295
