Job Summary The General Tree Care Team are the muscle of our operation. These industrial athletes work together to provide high-quality tree care, helping to maintain and preserve the overall health of our clients' landscapes.
This position pays up to $30 hr depending on years of experience + paid PTO + paid benefits and 401K and up to $2,500 sign-on bonus based on your experience! The Crew Lead position is an additional level of specialty for select individuals who have demonstrated leadership qualities and received approval from the local branch management to provide direction in a work crew setting. Specific knowledge includes: TCIA Crew Leader Training Program, Crew Safety, Personal Safety, Hazard of Inexperience, and ability to check off levels equal and below. With over 30 years of growth and expansion across the country, we're hiring experienced Tree Climbers and Crew Leaders to join our high-performing team. *Why You'll Love Working at SavATree* * Work outside on scenic residential and commercial properties * Join a highly trained, safety-first team with top-of-the-line equipment * Opportunities for advancement-we promote from within * Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k), and more * Paid training, certifications, and continuing education support *What You'll Do* As a vital member of our *General Tree Care Team*, you will: * Climb, prune, and remove large shade trees and ornamentals using ropes, saddles, ladders, and bucket trucks * Operate chainsaws and rigging equipment safely and effectively * Execute tree care services including removals, cable bracing, and hazard assessment * Follow all safety procedures, including ANSI A300 and Z133 standards * Mentor and lead team members (Crew Leader role only) * Deliver excellent service to customers and represent SavATree with professionalism *Who We're Looking For* * At least one year of experience climbing without spurs in a professional setting * Familiarity with pruning practices and identifying tree/shrub species * Understanding of proper climbing and rigging techniques * Proficiency in the use of chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other tree care tools * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Leadership experience and Crew Leader certification (preferred for Crew Leader role) *What You'll Need* * A genuine passion for working outdoors in a physically active role * A valid U.S. driver's license (CDL strongly preferred) * Authorization to work lawfully in the U.S. * Must be a minimum of 21 years old *Your Future at SavATree* At SavATree, we don't just offer a job-we offer a place where you can thrive.
