We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of cabling systems and equipment across various technologies, including IP video surveillance, physical access control systems, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and wireless LANs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, solve problems efficiently, and deliver high-quality results.
*Responsibilities* * Install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and related infrastructure. * Interpret and work from blueprints, site maps, and technical diagrams. * Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, particularly NFPS 70 and 72. * Perform structured cabling for voice, data, and video systems. * Diagnose and resolve issues with network switches, routers, and WiFi systems. * Maintain strong communication with clients and team members to ensure project success. *Qualifications* * Proven experience with access control and security systems installations. * Strong understanding of cabling standards and best practices. * Experience with CCTV, voice and data cabling. * Previous work with alarm systems and related technologies. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
